To the editor:

In times like these, rural Kansans need someone like Jerry Karr to stand up for our interests in the state Senate.

As a self-made farmer and a member of the Kansas Commission on Rural Policy, Jerry understands the challenges facing Kansas farmers and agricultural producers living in the 17th District. That’s why, as a state Senator, Jerry fought hard for a number of issues that benefitted rural Kansas, including legislation that protected family farmers and expanded economic opportunities in the Flint Hills.

As our senator, I trust Jerry to continue fighting to protect our rural communities, create good jobs, and grow agricultural opportunities.

On Tuesday, vote for the candidate who will stand up for rural Kansas. On Tuesday, vote Jerry Karr for state Senate.
