A card shower is requested for Vernon and Arlene Bowers, who will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 5.

Vernon Bowers and Arlene Klein were married at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marion on Oct. 5, 1956.

They plan to celebrate with a family gathering Oct. 8 at Kings Park in Hesston.
