Marion Senior Center
The Marion Senior Center hosted the 55th annual meeting of the Senior Citizens of Marion County on Thursday, with 139 reservations. Quilts were on display, and quilters were honored. The Marion High School Singers performed, and Virginia Downing was surprised with special recognition by Lanell Hett.
Betty May celebrated her birthday Oct. 12 at the senior center.
Aulne United Methodist Church members came Oct. 13 to the center for their monthly birthday party, honoring Joyce Olsen, Margaret Cook, and Verna Gervais. Flu shots were given after lunch by the Marion County Health Department.
The public is invited to a program Oct. 28 at the center on colds and the flu, given by Angels Care Home Health.
