Marion Senior Center patrons celebrated kitchen volunteer Ron Wright’s 70th birthday on Aug. 28 with hamburgers grilled by Harlow Warneke.
Lanell Hett, transportation secretary for Marion County Department on Aging, gave a program on Sept. 2. Hett has worked 33 years at the senior center.
Gayla Ratzlaff will talk about a trip she took to the Grand Canyon in a presentation Wednesday.
The senior center is looking for volunteer drivers for the meals-on-wheels programs, as well as drivers to provide seniors with transport to doctor appointments.
Volunteers should talk to Hett or Bryant at the center.
