Charlene Faye Garcia, 47, of Hutchinson, died May 4, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.

Born Sept. 14, 1962, in Marion, to Michael R. and Frances Irene (Saenz) Martinez, she attended Peabody schools and was employed by HUBCO in Hutchinson.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in South Hutchinson.

She married Jose Manuel Garcia Dec. 11, 1981, in Hutchinson.

Her father; children, Jesus Manuel and Jessica Garcia; and granddaughter, Aubrianna Michelle Garcia preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jose, and a daughter, Rosalinda Garcia of Hutchinson; her mother, Frances Martinez of Peabody; two brothers, David and Paul Martinez of Newton; three sisters, Paula Harris, Rebecca Rabin, and Sarah Jo Sears of Peabody; her grandmother, Sarah Saenz of Newton; and a granddaughter.

Services were Friday morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, with the Revs. Brian Nelson and Nicholas Voelker officiating.

Burial was in Fairlawn Burial Park.

A rosary was recited Thursday evening at the church.

A memorial fund has been established with American Diabetes Association in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N Main St, Hutchinson KS 67501.
