A Centre FFA team of Tanner Brunner, Nathan Barney, and Alex Hajek finished in first place in livestock management April 1 at Aggie Days in Hutchinson. Brunner finished first individually and Barney third.
With the addition of Cole Svoboda, the team also competed in senior livestock judging. They finished fifth in district competition and ninth in the invitational.
The ag mechanics team — Brandon Albrecht, Brian Burhoop, Heath Hill, and Benjamin Wirtz — finished in fifth place.
Freshman livestock team members were Shane Methvin, who finished eighth, Dani Spohn, and Zach Calvert. They also competed in an entomology contest.
Centre FFA was named reserve champion in the sweepstakes competition and received a banner.
