The Centre High School scholars’ bowl team finished with a 2-2 record Nov. 10 at Flint Hills High School in Rosalia.

In pool play, the Cougars defeated Bluestem, 60-10; and Douglas, 25-10. They lost matches to El Dorado, 50-40; and Circle, 50-35.

Theo Kassebaum led the team in scoring with 65 points, followed by Tom Oborny, 55; Michal Baumgartner, 30; Bessie Yang, 30; and Nastya Lesnikova, 10. Amy Makovec did not score.
