Clinic manager attends leadership conference

Staff writer

Tammy Snelling, clinic director at St. Luke Clinic, recently polished her leadership skills at a training event.

Snelling was one of 32 medical leaders statewide who attended Kansas Hospital Association’s leadership institute.

She was nominated for the course by St. Luke hospital CEO Jeremy Ensey, who said KHA calls those chosen to attend “future leaders of Kansas hospitals,” but that description doesn’t hit the target with Snelling. Snelling has been a clinic manager 21 years and has worked at a clinic 35 years.

“Tammy is someone who leads by example: she is humble, honest and organized,” Ensey said. “She is one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I have worked with.”
