Collett family meets for reunion

Sixty-three Collett descendants met Oct. 9 at the Marion County Lake Hall for their annual reunion.

After sharing food and visiting, the “white elephant” auction was held with Deanna Talbert and Gina Marx as the usual entertainment.

Colleen Garman and Bev Jennison will be the 2012 officers.

Attending from out-of-town were Kenneth and Anita Sly, Steve and Colleen Garman, Brea Sly and Andrea Alsatt, Salina; Bill and Roma Skaggs, Dan and Hollyce Morris, Topeka; Lancer, Bethany, and Hollyanne Brayton, Lesley Owens, Lawrence; Bill and Clarice Hammer and Jeanne Owens, Olathe; Doug and Janelle Paden, Abigal and Jonathan, Newton; Rebecca Wagner, Alec and Kira, and Mary Collett, Overland Park; Marge Talbott, Healstead; John Umberger, Lincolnville; Terry and Gina Marx and John Henry, Bobby Stuckert and friend Casey, Deanna Talbot, Wichita; Bev and Kevin Jennison, Stilwell; Rick and Collette Erickson, Chapman; and Steve Collett and friend Gloria, Cedar Point.
