Marion Senior Center is in the middle of distributing government commodities. If a patron is unable to make it to the site, an associate may fill out a proxy form and take a box of supplies to them.
Commodities arrived May 13 and were quickly boxed up by Sue Clough, Vickie Kaempfe, Jackie Hett, Kathy Beeton, Al Ash, and Gene Winkler. Bill Kaempfe helped unload commodities.
Members of Aulne Methodist Church helped celebrate Leonard Smith’s birthday by entering into song May 7.
Patrons shared Mother’s Day readings May 8. Connie Fisher also led everyone in singing “M is for the Million Things She Gave Me.”
Hilltop Manor residents joined senior center patrons to watch Dan White play his musical saw May 13.
Jen McGill of Catholic Charities in Wichita will give a program after lunch May 27.
