MARION SENIOR CENTER: Cooking conundrum

The Senior Center is a reliable place to get a good meal. That task became stressful and confusing March 10 when the normal cook left to tend to a family emergency. Fortunately, Sue Clough and some called-in volunteers came to the rescue. It was a learning experience for all involved.
Amanda Sheesley of Hatfield Mobility in Salina gave a short presentation that day.
Hilltop Manor residents attended March 11. Ron and Connie Shipman entertained them and senior center participants with a musical program.
Keith Allison replaced the clock Al Gantz had taken care of for many years with a new one.
A representative from Angels Care Home Health will present a program March 25.
