James and Dainne Cyr of Marion announce the birth of a son, Cooper James Cyr, Dec. 21 at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge.

He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long.

He was welcomed home by a sister, Emily, 15, and a brother, Nathan, 14.

Don and Deb Shipman of Florence and Carl Cyr of McPherson are his grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Jean Shipman and Bud and Rose Vinduska of Florence.

Amelia Vinduska of Marion is his great-great-grandmother.
