An article in last week’s paper about Nick Kraus resigning as county planning and zoning commission chairman contains a couple of mischaracterizations. Kraus had not been considering resigning for several months; instead, he was considering leaving the commission when his term expires next year. He also resigned with the expressed understanding that Jeff Bina be appointed to fill his position, and not that he also be named chairman.
