Martin and Margaret Tice of Marion will observe their 50th wedding anniversary May 28 and are planning a family celebration June 30 to July 5 in Georgetown, Colorado.

Martin Tice and Margaret Delk were married May 28, 1967, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

He taught math and science in Wichita, was principal at Florence and Marion schools, provided accounting and tax work at Thies, Tice and Associates, and finished his career as business manager for the Marion-Florence school district.

She was a nurse at Wesley Hospital, St. Luke Hospital, and McPherson Hospital.

Since retirement, they have enjoyed traveling and following family, especially grandchildren. They have three children, Brad Tice and wife, Angela, of Thompson Station, Tennessee; Greg Tice and wife, Dena, of Colwich; and Lori Bennett and husband, Daron, of Overland Park. They also have 10 grandchildren.
