These offense reports were released Friday by the Marion County sheriff’s office:

Burglary, criminal damage

A DVD player, electric knife, vacuum cleaner, extension cord, ice chest, water cooler, jumper cables and lantern, together valued at $122, were reported stolen before 3:15 p.m. June 14 from a camper parker in a storage unit at 2202 Pawnee Road, Marion. The door to the camper, owned by Dewey Pennington, 69, Hillsboro, sustained an estimated $100 damage.

Criminal damage

A mailbox outside the residence of Rodney Boese, 49, of 1370 N. Alamo Road, Canton, was smashed with a blunt object between 6:30 p.m. June 9 and 8 a.m. June 10.

Battery

Donald Cole, 54, of 3439 Vista Road, Lost Springs, was struck in the face at 12:08 p.m. June 8 by the open hand of a person with whom he was having a disagreement over pay, Undersheriff David Huntley reported. Huntley’s report said Cole did not appear to be injured.

Criminal damage

A mailbox outside the residence of Cleobeth Friesen, 57, of 979 170th Road, Canton, was damaged between 5:30 p.m. June 8 and 3 p.m. June 11.
