Criminal cases

Information often is not available until more than a week after hearings.

Dustin L. Shiplet, 206 SW 5th St., Newton; $150 cash bond remanded to the clerk of District Court on May 30 for court costs.

Trenton Gregory Reif, 1815 Tyler St., Great Bend; first amended complaint filed May 29, charging defendant with criminal trespass, criminal damage to property, and battery. Warrant issued April 25 with $1,500 appearance bond, returned June 12.

Aaron Douglas Unruh, 328 Locust St., Marion; pleaded guilty pursuant to State v. Alford on May 9 to two counts of battery. Sentencing scheduled for June 12.

Keith Hess, 1980 Ridge Road, Marion; waived formal arraignment May 21, pleaded innocent to charges of aggravated battery, battery, and disorderly conduct; requested a jury trial. Jury trial scheduled for Aug. 21.

Chase F. Spindler, 35 E. 3rd St., Waconia, Minn.; first amended complaint filed June 12; charged with residential burglary, three counts of felony theft, 13 counts of misdemeanor theft, and criminal damage to property.

Trenton Duane Vogt, 8028 Vintage Terrace, Claremont, Okla.; information filed June 11; charged with residential burglary, criminal trespass, and attempted misdemeanor theft.

Ian Anders Weisbeck, 210 6th St., Durham; information filed June 11; charged with criminal damage to property.

Frank James Wilson, 225 W. Ruth St., Moundridge; information filed June 11; charged with non-residential burglary and five counts of misdemeanor theft. Information filed June 11; charged with residential burglary, two counts of felony theft, three counts of misdemeanor theft, criminal damage to property, and criminal trespass.

Bradford A. Cody Jr., 144 N. Roosevelt, Marion; first amended complaint issued June 13; charged with attempted obstruction of official duty.

Dallen Thompson, 501 N. B St., Ramona; arraignment continued from June 12 to July 11 on charges of nonresidential burglary, vehicular burglary, and misdemeanor theft.

Traffic

Ronald J. Ewing Jr., 325 North Park Apt. D, Ogden; waived formal arraignment May 16, pleaded innocent to driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked. Status hearing scheduled for June 20.
