Chauney Louise Layman; pleaded no-contest July 23 to two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal damage to property; sentencing scheduled for Aug. 15.

Jeromy James, 1315 E. Main St., Marion; pleaded no-contest June 13 to battery; charge of criminal damage to property dismissed; sentenced to six months of probation; ordered to pay $200 restitution plus $205 fees; forbidden from having contact with the victim.

Dominiece Lashay Renee Hutton, 240 N. Madison, Wichita; preliminary hearing continued from June 27 to Aug. 22 on charges of forgery and attempted theft by deception.

Harold Allan Dornbush, 809 Hudson St., Marion; waived preliminary hearing June 27 and bound over on a charge of aggravated assault; also charged with endangering a child and disorderly conduct.

Justin L. Chrisjohn, 144 N. Roosevelt St., Marion; first amended complaint filed charging defendant with battery.

Donald Francis Harner, 211 S. Algona, Arlington; first appearance Aug. 6, preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 22 on charge of felony theft.

Nicholas Hoffner, 811 Lawrence, Durham; charge of purchase or consumption of an alcoholic beverage by a minor dismissed June 23 pursuant to plea in another case. Stipulated July 23 to probation violation; probation revoked; ordered to serve 10 days in jail; driving privileges suspended 30 days.

Aaron Douglas Unruh, 328 Locust St., Marion; sentenced July 10 on two counts of battery to a 12 month controlling jail term and 12 months probation; ordered to pay $265 fees, undergo drug testing, and complete mental health, drug, and alcohol evaluation and 20 hours community service; forbidden from having contact with victims or unsupervised contact with anyone ages 12 to 18, including family members.

Patricia Miller, 105 N. Birch St., Hillsboro; jury trial on misdemeanor theft continued from July 10 to Oct. 16; pretrial status hearing scheduled for Sept. 24.

Ralph W. Ballinger, 414 Grandview, Florence; pleaded no-contest July 10 to violation of a protection order and disorderly conduct; another charge of violation of a protection order dismissed; sentencing scheduled for Sept. 24.

Shelby C. Percell, 17 Random Road, Marion; bench trial continued from July 10 to July 11 on charge of purchase or consumption of an alcoholic beverage by a minor; status hearing continued from July 16 to Sept. 24.

Calvin Ray Maurer, 1124 Weldon, Marion; July 18 hearing; plea hearing scheduled for Aug. 15 on charges of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving while license suspended, and criminal deprivation of property.

Robert Scott Ayers, 208 Mockingbird, McPherson; arraignment continued from July 16 to Aug. 6 on charge of giving a worthless check.

Robert Scott Ayers, 704 W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro; arraignment continued from July 16 to Aug. 6 on two charges of domestic battery.

Joshua Lee Vines, Florence; complaint amended July 16 to criminal damage to property; pleaded no-contest; sentenced to 60-day controlling jail term and 12 months probation; ordered to undergo drug testing and complete drug and alcohol program; ordered to pay $1,237.10 fees and court-appointed attorney costs.

Trenton Duane Vogt, Claremore, Okla.; pleaded not guilty to charges of residential burglary, criminal trespass, and attempted misdemeanor theft July 16; status hearing scheduled for Aug. 6.

Tanya G. Brammer, 828 Jade Road, Peabody; first appearance Aug. 6; arraignment scheduled for Sept. 24 on charge of giving a worthless check.

Barbara D. Hermosillo, 131 S. Taft No. 17, McPherson; first appearance Aug. 6; arraignment scheduled for Sept. 17 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and permitting an unauthorized minor to drive.

Andrew B. Shipman, 509 Heather Lane Apt. B, Newton; stipulated to probation violation July 16; disposition scheduled for Aug. 22.

Ian Anders Weisbeck, 210 6th St., Durham; arraignment July 16; plea hearing scheduled for Sept. 24 on charge of criminal damage to property.

Frank James Wilson, 225 W. Ruth St., Moundridge; failed to appear July 16; bench warrant ordered with $20,000 bond; defendant charged with nonresidential burglary and five counts misdemeanor theft.

Schuyler Grant Hulett, 122 W. 5th St., Florence; arraignment continued from July 18 to Sept. 24 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jason C. Croft; stipulated to probation violation July 23; probation reinstated for 12 months; ordered to pay $60 fee.

Jason Anderson, 407 N. Vine, Peabody; pleaded no-contest July 23 to charge of possession of drug paraphernalia; charge of possession of methamphetamine dismissed; sentencing scheduled for Sept. 12.

Richard Reimann, 405 S. Birch St. Lot 2, Hillsboro; diversion status hearing July 23; plea hearing scheduled for Aug. 20 on charges of possession of an hallucinogenic drug (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trenton Gregory Reif, 1815 Tyler St., Great Bend; arraignment continued from July 23 to Sept. 12 on charges of criminal trespass, criminal damage to property, and battery.

Rochelle D. Atwood, 307 Elm St., Peabody; pleaded not guilty July 23 to charges of battery and criminal trespass; requested a jury trial; jury trial scheduled for Sept. 13; status hearing scheduled for Aug. 20.

Cody L. McPhail, 207 S. Cedar St., Hillsboro; pleaded no-contest June 20 to driving while license suspended; sentenced to five-day controlling jail term and placed on six months probation; ordered to pay $348 fine and fees.

Tyler J. Slater, 586 Needle Road, Peabody; July 16 hearing; jury trial continued to Sept. 18 on charge of driving under the influence.

Daniel V. Catlin II, 210 W. 6th St., Florence; July 16 hearing; arraignment scheduled for Sept. 12 on charge of contributing to a child’s misconduct or deprivation.

Paul J. Brady, 414 S. Central, Mulvane; charge of driving while license suspended dismissed July 16.

Nicole Alissa Rowley, 202 3rd, Tampa; bond appearance continued from July 17 to Aug. 15 on charges of driving under the influence and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Lloyd Meier, 2406 190th Road, Marion; hearing continued from July 18 to Aug. 15 on charge of driving under the influence.

Mark Alan Wheeler, 30 Jerome St., Marion; hearing July 18; plea hearing scheduled for Aug. 15 on charges of speeding (76 mph in a 65 mph zone), driving under the influence, and failure to maintain a single lane.

Marcos Erik Garcia; 4912 S. Tierra Ave., Wichita; hearing continued from July 18 to Aug. 15 on charges of speeding in excess (86 mph in a 65 mph zone), brake light not working, and transporting an open container of alcohol.

David B. Buller, 305 N. Ash St., Hillsboro; pleaded not guilty July 18 to charges of driving under the influence and failure to yield while making a left turn.

Thomas J. Likins Jr., 126 McPherson St., Canton; failed to appear July 18 on charges of driving under the influence, failure to submit to preliminary breath test, and failure to maintain a single lane, bench warrant issued with $2,500 bond.
