Shane A. Mascareno, 108 N. 9th St., Herington, convicted of vehicular homicide in death of Zachariah Antoszyk, and driving under the influence; sentenced Oct. 6 to 12 months in custody of Marion County Sheriff, credited with 46 days time served, must contact court services officer within 24 hours of release, sentenced to 18 months supervised probation to begin upon release, vehicle to be impounded one year, must pay $218 in court fees, a $750 fine, and $9,786.15 in restitution to John Antoszyk, 408 N. Roosevelt, Marion; probation transferable to Dickinson County if deemed appropriate, must surrender commercial driver’s license as condition of probation.

Carlos Mitchell Taylor, 168 State St., Emporia, 30-day diversion agreement entered into Nov. 12 for charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, given four months to show proof of military enlistment, fined $500.

Kyle Fistler, 705 W. 8th St., Lot D, Peabody, pleaded not guilty Oct. 27 to interference with law enforcement and misdemeanor theft of Sheryl J. Shimmonds’ silver and black bicycle (valued less than $1,000), pretrial conference scheduled for Nov. 24.

Caleb Patrick Woodcox, 507 Northeast 8th St., Abilene, convicted of possession of marijuana, did not appear for first of five 48-hour jail sentences Nov. 7, probation revoked.

Chris Lieder, 313 S. Ash St., Hillsboro, probation revoked Oct. 20 for failing to report to court services officer and failing to notify court services officer of address, phone number, or employment change, and failing to not possess controlled substances, sentenced to 180 days in custody of Marion County Sheriff.

Luis C. Perez, 223 N. Roosevelt St., Marion, pleaded not guilty Oct. 27 to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended or revoked.

Levi Jason Smith, 1401 Frontenac Rd., Park City, to serve 48-hour sanctions with Marion County Sheriff starting Nov. 7, continuing every two weeks until weekend of March 27, ordered by court Oct. 27 to pay $340 restitution to Mark Smith, 1564 Nighthawk Rd., Marion.

Adam Tyler Mosier, 403 Cincinnati St., Burns, failed to report to court services officer, probation revoked Oct. 27, disposition hearing scheduled for Dec. 10.

Eveleo Tomas Newton, 321 S. Coble St., Marion, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct, found guilty, sentenced to six months supervised probation, to be served concurrent with other cases, fined $218.

Cyle Lee Wilson, 127 Forest St., Marion, failed to not possess controlled substance, bond revoked Oct. 27, status hearing scheduled for Nov. 19.

Michele L. Gonzalez, 611 Elm St., Peabody, charge of interference with law enforcement dismissed without prejudice Oct. 31, costs assessed to the state.
