Brenda S. Martin, 110 N. Jefferson, Hillsboro, pleaded no contest Oct. 14 to charge of cashing a worthless check, three other charges of cashing worthless checks from two cases dismissed with prejudice pursuant to plea, defendant placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months, ordered to pay $1,032.56 in restitution including: $222.96 to Alco Discount Store, $87.50 to Jost Service, and $417.25 to Dale’s Supermarket; and $61.85 in restitution to R & D Liquor Store in a similar charge from a separate case, which was dismissed pursuant to plea agreement.

Sherri Ann Krug, 910 Highland St., Marion, pleaded not guilty Oct. 15 to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, criminal trespassing, and failure to submit to preliminary breath test, preliminary hearing was to be Nov. 3, charges edited Nov. 20, omitting inclusion of previous driving under the influence conviction and defiance of order not to enter in trespassing charge.

Justin Croft, 518 N. Lawrence, Durham, pleaded not guilty Oct. 27 to battery, pretrial status hearing was to be Nov. 24.

Dustin T. Stucky, 261 County Road 42, Healy, pleaded not guilty Oct. 27 to battery against Jordan Brundage; criminal trespassing on property at 707 Elm St., Peabody, in defiance of an order not to enter; disorderly conduct, brawling; pretrial status hearing was to be Nov. 24.

Lucas Tullis, 534 N. 11th St., Towanda, pleaded not guilty Oct. 27 to possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs; pleaded not guilty to nonresidential burglary at Coneburg Inn; pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, residential burglary at home of April Kasper, 711 N. Chestnut, Peabody, and misdemeanor theft of a hat and sweat shirt of Micah Duhon.

Brandy Lynn Keane, 1509 Ranch Rd., McPherson, pleaded guilty Oct. 27 to possession of drug paraphernalia, charge of transportation of liquor in an open container dismissed with prejudice, sentenced to six months supervised probation, can be converted to unsupervised probation after 90 days in good standing, probation can be transferred to McPherson County, fined $263.
