Jay Schwendiman, 225 N. Cedar St., Marion, pleaded no contest Feb. 11 to giving a worthless check; in exchange, four charges of giving a worthless check were dropped; sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, can be converted to unsupervised probation after six months, fined $158 plus $345.13 restitution.

Austin Lee Aumiller, 9 N. F St., Herington, reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia, case dismissed Feb. 11, costs assessed to the state.

Melanie Veach, 413 S. Washington St., Hillsboro, cash bond of $250 ordered March 10 to be remanded to clerk of district court, to be applied to fees owed to Alco Discount Store, fined $147.32, assessed court costs of $223 court ordered matter dismissed.

Caleb Patrick Woodcox, 507 NE 8th St., Abilene, probation unsuccessfully terminated Feb. 11, monies owed turned over to court trustee’s office for collection.

Johney R. Strotkamp, 609 Spruce St., Peabody, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia, sentenced Feb. 18 to five-day controlling sentence with Marion County Sheriff, fined $203.

Ashli Nicole Witten, 1328 Eisenhower Ave., Great Bend, forgery and misdemeanor theft, sentenced Feb. 11 to 18 months supervised probation.

James Wullenweber, 216 N. Washington St., Hillsboro, pleaded no contest Feb. 18 to disorderly conduct, brawling, found guilty, sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, can convert to unsupervised after six months, ordered to have no contact with victim Teria Mader, fined $263.

Thomas Earl Potts, 612 Walnut St., Peabody, pleaded not guilty Feb. 18 to domestic battery, pretrial status hearing was to be March 11.

Kenneth Lee Newell, 242 Forrest St., Marion, pleaded guilty March 10 to two charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under 14, sentencing scheduled for April 20.

Zackery Alan Bruce, 714 Sherman St., Marion, pleaded no contest March 10 to possession of marijuana, sentenced to six months unsupervised probation, fined $158.
