Joseph M. Bauer, 709 E. 8th, Newton; admitted probation violation July 9. Disposition hearing set for Aug. 26.

David L. Bean, 102 W. Santa Fe St., Marion; pleaded no contest July 3 to possession of methamphetamine. Sentencing set for Aug. 26. Charge of possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed.

Justin L. Chrisjohn, 1204½ E. Main St., Apt. 1, Marion; charges of domestic battery and two counts of battery dismissed July 1 pursuant to pleading no contest to a charge of criminal carrying of a weapon. Sentencing set for Aug. 26.

Michele R. Dillashaw, 102 W. Santa Fe St., Apt. 3, Marion; probation extended 12 months July 1.

Darren R. Geissert, 2776 Z Ave., Burdick; pleaded not guilty July 9 to possession of a hallucinogen with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana without tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting alcohol in an open container. Requested jury trial set for Sept. 24 and 25.

Lacy A. Laffery, 212 N. Vine St., Peabody; nine charges of giving a worthless check dismissed July 15.

Linh Phi Le, 608 S. Washington St., Hillsboro; failed to appear July 15 at bond appearance on a 2009 conviction of performing a tattoo on a person under 18 years of age. Bench warrant issued with no bond. Prior bond revoked.

Andrew Logan Meier, 211 E. Maria St., Lehigh; trial set for Sept. 5 on charges of non-residential burglary, felony theft, criminal trespass, and five counts of misdemeanor theft.

Leslie O. Riggs, 1094 X Ranch Road, Florence; sentenced to 48 hours in jail followed by 12 months probation in lieu of 90 days jail for driving under the influence. Ordered to pay $1,015 and complete 20 hours of community service.

Carrie L. Terwilliger, 302 S.W. 4th St., Abilene; pleaded guilty July 9 to possession of a hallucinogen (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting alcohol in an open container. Sentenced to 12 months probation in lieu of 12 months jail. Ordered to complete 25 hours community service and pay $265.

Kevin Tidwell, 206 W. B St., Hillsboro; pleaded not guilty July 3 to aggravated assault.

Melissa S. Varelman, 1284 3300 Ave., Abilene; failed to appear at arraignment on a charge of giving a worthless check; bench warrant requiring $150 bond issued.

Shanna J. Zampieri, 319 S. Cedar St., Marion; pleaded no contest July 3 to charges of endangering a child, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hallucinogen (marijuana). Sentencing set for Aug. 26. Charge of possession of methamphetamine dismissed.
