Chance D. Johnson, 21, Peabody, pleaded no contest Aug. 13 to possession of methamphetamine. Charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

Tylor D. Patterson, 21, Burns, was sentenced Oct. 15 to a year’s probation and ordered to pay $218 for battery of a 5-year-old child. The charges were reduced from an original charge of child abuse.
