Marion police are looking for volunteers to be traffic safety guards for school children using the crosswalk at Freeborn and Main Sts., after receiving a request from a citizen concerned about extra traffic detouring through town due to road construction.

Help is needed from 7:50 to 8:20 a.m. or 3:30 to 3:50 p.m.
