The Mid-Kansas League baseball team defeated the Cottonwood Valley League All-stars 11-1 in the 13 and under age division championship game to win District 4.

Play began Thursday when Mid-Kansas League defeated Cottonwood Valley, 5-1.

On Saturday, Cottonwood Valley played Newton and won 12-9 to advance to the championship game.

Cottonwood Valley was invited to participate in the state tournament, starting July 22 in Osawatomie, as a wild card team.
