Daryl E Bartel, 64, died Saturday at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with interment preceding the service at 1 p.m. at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home.

Bartel was born July 5, 1952, to Eldon A. and Ethel Marie (Duerksen) Bartel in Hillsboro. He married Darlene Schmidt Aug. 23, 1981, in Hillsboro.

Survivors include wife Darlene Bartel of Hillsboro; son Lance Bartel of Bel Aire; daughter Corissa Mangus of Bellevue, Nebraska; brothers Lynn Bartel of Enid, Oklahoma, and Lonnie Bartel of Iowa City, Iowa; sister Ellen Patry of Whitewater; and three grandchildren.

Memorials have been established for Tabor College or Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
