Deadline to apply for annual Peabody Community Foundation grants is Jan. 6.

A wide array of projects that promote or enhance the community are eligible. board chairman Nelson Patton said. Winners may be affiliated with a church, governmental unit, or non-profit organization. Projects must be for charitable purposes.

Winners will be announced Feb. 7 at a pancake feed at Peabody Senior Center.

Applications are available at Peabody State Bank and http://centralkansascf.org/. They may be submitted online or sent to Brad Nightengale at Peabody State Bank before 5 p.m. Jan. 6. More information is available from Patton at (316) 772-8048 or Nightengale at 983-2181.
