Marion County Democratic Women met for lunch Friday at Marion Senior Center.

Eileen Sieger reported that the county central committee will meet 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Big Scoop in Marion. There will be an election of officers; only precinct residents can vote.

Neysa Eberhard invited everyone to the Harvey County Democrats annual ham and bean supper Oct. 15. The Kansas House minority leader, Anthony Hensley will be the speaker.

Members donated packages of margarine to the Marion County Emergency Food Bank.

The next meeting will be Oct. 28.
