Isaacs to celebrate 50th anniversary

Don and Connie Isaac will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Parkview Church activity center in Hillsboro. There will be a brief program at 3:30 p.m.

They were married Dec. 28, 1962, at Bethany Mennonite Brethren Church in Fresno, Calif. Don was business manager at Fresno Pacific College for 14 years and then chairman of the Tabor College Business Department for 24 years. Connie is in her 19th year as director of the Lifelong Learning program at Tabor College.

They have two children, Christy Zimmerman of Reedley, Calif., and James Isaac of Wichita, and six grandchildren.
