Donald C. Gillet

Donald C. Gillet, 76, died May 18, 2009, at Legacy Park, Peabody,

Born Jan. 8, 1933, in Marion County, he was the son of Roy and Hester (Clark) Gillet.

He was a retired carpenter.

On Nov. 27, 1955, he married Reeta Gaines. She preceded him in death in 1991.

Survivors include four daughters, Donella Humphries of Florence, Brenda Riggs of Peabody, Janet Post of Burns, and Debra Gillet of Herington.

A graveside service was Thursday morning at Summit Cemetery, rural Burns, with Pastor Arlen Busenitz officiating.

A memorial fund has been established with Partners of Peabody Parks in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Marion KS 66861.
