Donald E. “Poppa” Conrad died Sept. 14 at his home in Burns.

He was born Nov. 19, 1932, in Wapata, Wash. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris F. “Mimi” Conrad.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Beam, and a great-granddaughter, Doris E. Gowen.

“Poppa” Don is survived by a daughter, Arlene Winsor of Burns, and a son, Larry Beam of Derby. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and more than 30 great-great-grandchildren.
