Dora Holub

Dora M. Holub, 89, of Marion died Nov. 12, 2013, at St. Luke Living Center. She was born March 21, 1924, to Earl and Alma (Hotze) Thomas in Amorita, Okla.

She married Theo Holub on Jan. 12, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Mary Sue; two siblings, Harold and Joe Thomas and Delores Sysak; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Jeannie Vinduska of Lincolnville, Meg Grochowsky of Topeka, and Mary Davis of Texarkana, Ark.; three sons, Steve of Newton, John of Udall, and Bill of Garden Plain; a sister, Ruby Holub of Marion; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion. Services were Saturday at Holy Family Parish, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, in Marion. Interment was in the Pilsen Cemetery.

Memorial funds have been established with the Fr. Kapaun Fund and Good Shepherd Hospice.
