Tabor College Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies Director Peggy Goertzen will give a presentation about Charles Flippin on Monday at Tabor’s Learning in Retirement series.

Flippin was an African-American doctor who cared for many of the early settlers in Marion County. Goertzen has uncovered more of his story and interviewed some of his descendants.
