Easter bunny visits Lincolnville

Children from the Lincolnville community converged on the city park Saturday for the annual Easter egg hunt. They were greeted by the Easter bunny, played by Mikayla Kaiser, who offered them sweet treats.
Rain had been forecast to fall that day but didn’t materialize, so the event proceeded as planned.
Children were divided into four age groups. Four plastic eggs contained slips of paper awarding an Easter basketful of goodies to one child in each category. Winners were Harper Chrisjohn, 3; Andrew Ebaben, 4; Haley Meyer, 9; and Grace Peterson, 10.
After the hunt, children decorated peat pots, filled them with soil, and planted flower seeds. They also enjoyed cookies and drinks.
