Eggs to be graded at workshop

Kansas Department of Agriculture will sponsor an egg grading workshop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 21 at the Sedgwick County extension office in Wichita.

Workshops will provide training on egg grading and other important information for poultry producers.

Associate professor in K-State Department of Animal Sciences and Industry Scott Beyer will offer training on proper egg grading and poultry disease screening for maintaining healthy flocks. Assistant program manager for Food Safety and Lodging at KDA Adam Inman will review Kansas rules and regulations for grading and selling eggs in Kansas.
