Eli J. Suderman, 94, died Nov. 1 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
Born Aug. 9, 1916, in rural Hillsboro, to G.W. and Anna (Loewen) Suderman, he was a farmer and stockman.
On May 25, 1942, he married Edna Koop in Hillsboro. She died in 2008.
A brother, Jonas, and sisters Alma Jost, Anna Daisy Siemens, and Berniece Karber, also preceded him.
He was a member of Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro.
Survivors include two sons, Don of rural Hillsboro and Lyle of Olathe; two daughters, Carla Koslowsky of Hillsboro and Krista Bryant of Concordia; a sister, Irene Siebel of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church in rural Hillsboro. The Rev. Gaylord Goertzen will officiate.
Burial will precede the service at 3 p.m. in Ebenfeld Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Parkside Homes.
