6:10 p.m. — A patient vomiting blood at Peabody Care Center was transported by Peabody Ambulance to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 7:21 p.m.

8:24 p.m. — A male in his 80s having breathing difficulties in the 200 block of South Washington St. was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The ambulance returned to the station at 9:40 p.m.

8:39 p.m. — A female in her 60s who was reported choking in the 200 block of Euclid was attended to by Goessel first responders. No transportation was required.

Wednesday

8:36 a.m. — Hillsboro Ambulance, Hillsboro Fire, and Hillsboro Rescue responded to the intersection of 150th Road and Kansas Road for a downed power pole on fire in the road. The fire was extinguished at 8:53 a.m. Units were released from the scene at 9:07 a.m.

12:23 p.m. — Peabody Ambulance responded to 700 block of South Main St. in Hillsboro for advanced life support transport of a patient to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. The ambulance returned to the station at 4:14 p.m.

Thursday

3:36 p.m. — Peabody Ambulance responded to a report of a child bitten by a dog in the 600 block of North Walnut St. Transportation was refused, and the ambulance returned to the station at 4:01 p.m.

7:48 p.m. — A male in his 50s reported as not alert in the 200 block of East Seventh St. was transported by Florence ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The ambulance returned to the station at 8:57 p.m.

friday

6:58 a.m. Burns first responders and Florence Ambulance responded to the 400 block of B Road in Chase County for a female in her 80s with a possible stroke. Patient was transported to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 9:06 a.m.

8:50 a.m. — A male in his 20s experiencing convulsions in the roadway at Fifth St. and Walnut St. was transported by Peabody Ambulance to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 9:56 a.m.

9:17 a.m. — Hillsboro Ambulance was dispatched to Newton Medical Center for patient transport to Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. The ambulance returned to the station at 11:55 a.m.

6:02 p.m. — Florence Ambulance responded to the site of a car-deer collision south of Florence on U.S. 77. The ambulance returned to the station at 7:21 p.m.

saturday

3:36 a.m. — Ramona Fire Department and Tampa Ambulance responded to report of a fire in Ramona. Ramona Fire Department identified a trash pile fire, and Tampa Ambulance was released from the call and returned to Tampa at 4:26.

2:40 p.m. — A female in a semi who passed out and woke up vomiting at U.S. 56 and Alamo Road was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The ambulance returned to the station at 3:48 p.m.

11:33 p.m. — A male in his 80s with heart problems at Parkside Homes was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The ambulance returned to the station at 12:39 a.m.

2:02 a.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 3:45 a.m.

9:30 a.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Marion Ambulance to Wesley Medical Center.

12:26 p.m. — A female in her 20s experiencing a seizure in a vehicle at the intersection of 250th Road and U.S. 77 was transported by Marion Ambulance #2 to St. Luke Hospital. The ambulance returned to the station at 2:26 p.m.

1:25 p.m. — A female in her 80s who was lethargic in the 800 block of West Grand St. was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Hillsboro Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 2:17 p.m.

2:44 p.m. — Marion Ambulance provided non-emergency transport of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. The ambulance returned to the station at 7:52 p.m.

4:13 p.m. — Hillsboro Ambulance provided non-emergency transport of a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. The ambulance returned to the station at 6:47 p.m.

9:17 p.m. — A woman in her 80s with severe leg pain in the 200 block of 80th Rd. was transported by Hillsboro Ambulance to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 11:05 p.m.

9:44 p.m. A male in his 40s experiencing dehydration in the 200 block of South Cedar St. was transported by Marion Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The ambulance returned to the station at 11:48 p.m.

monday

12:47 a.m. — Marion Ambulance provided medical transport for a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned to the station at 3:05 a.m.

6:26 p.m. — A male in his 70s experiencing bleeding at Peabody Care Center was examined and treated by Peabody Ambulance personnel. Transportation was not required. The ambulance returned to the station at 7:13.
