Emergency dispatches

The following dispatches were made by the Marion County Communications Department:

July 10

1:10 p.m. — A male who fell at the intersection of Fourth Street and Poplar Street was transported by Peabody ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

4:31 p.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Prairie View.

July 11

4:52 p.m. — A female in her 80s with bleeding and breathing difficulties at Bethesda Home was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted with the call.

4:55 p.m. — A female in her 80s with breathing difficulties in the 200 block of South Thorpe Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

10:15 p.m. — A female in her 80s with a possible hip fracture at Salem Home was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

1:11 a.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Via Christi-St. Francis.

4:12 a.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched for a medical false alarm in 100 block of North Freeborn Street.

10:34 a.m. — A female with a possible stroke in the 200 block of 40th Road was transported by Florence ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Burns first responders assisted with the call.

11:08 a.m. — A female who was dehydrated and disoriented on the railroad right of way one-half mile west of Locust Street was transported by Peabody ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

8:23 p.m. — A female in her 40s with facial swelling from a fall in the 200 block of South Schmidt Lane was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:51 p.m. — A male in his 70s vomiting blood at Marion Assisted Living was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

saturday

6:46 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance provided lifting assistance to a female who fell in the 400 block of Floral Drive.

5:59 p.m. — A female in her 70s who passed out in the 300 block of Elm Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. Marion Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

9:53 p.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched for an assault victim with cuts in the 600 block of South Cedar Street. No transportation was required.

sunday

9:08 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a male in his 60s who was conscious but nonresponsive in the 500 block of North Plum Street. Transportation was refused.

11:32 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a female in her 60s who passed out in the 400 block of North Sycamore Street. Transportation was refused.

3:47 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department and Peabody ambulance were dispatched to a vehicle fire on U.S. 50 one-half mile east of Indigo Road. No transportation was required.

8:34 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a female with a low pulse in the 400 block of West Grand Street. No transportation was provided.

monday

12:09 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a Life Alert alarm for a female in the 400 block of Marion Street in Goessel. The individual was transported to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted with the call.

4:10 p.m. — A female in her 40s with severe headache in the 100 block of North Madison Street was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Hillsboro Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

5:19 p.m. — A patient requiring advanced life support at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Peabody ambulance to Via Christi-St. Francis.

5:50 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to a male in his 60s with shaking and dizziness in the 800 block of Prairie Lawn Road. No transportation was provided.

7:15 p.m. — A male in his 40s with chest and arm pain at the county jail was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.
