Emergency dispatches

These dispatches were made by the Marion County Communications Department:

Aug. 28

1:42 a.m. — Marion ambulance provided emergency transport of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

5:27 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a child who was choking in the 1900 block of 275th Road. Transportation was not required. Lincolnville first responders assisted on the call.

6:32 p.m — A man in his 80s with chest pains in the 100 block of North Washington Street was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

7:40 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion rescue, Lincolnville first responders, and Lincolnville Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident at Sunflower Road and 240th Road. The occupant of the vehicle refused transportation.

Aug. 29

7:00 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a reported death of a man in his 60s in the 800 block of North Poplar Street.

5:18 p.m. — Marion Fire Department responded to a report of a possible pump house fire at Vista Road and 230th Road. No fire was discovered at the location or surrounding area.

10:45 p.m. — An individual involved in a vehicle accident in the 3200 block of Vista Road was transported by Tampa ambulance to Herington Municipal Hospital.

Thursday

8:10 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a reported death of a man in his 50s in the 2400 block of 180th Road.

7:04 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to a report of a damaged gas meter in the alley in the 400 block of Walnut Street between Walnut and Vine Street.

Friday

12:40 a.m. — Lost Springs Fire Department and Lincolnville Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in a house in the 200 block of West Lincoln Street in Lost Springs.

11:42 a.m. — A man with a possible leg fracture from a bicycle accident at Main Street and Fourth Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

1:50 p.m. — Durham Fire Department responded to a pasture fire at 300th Road and Diamond Road.

Saturday

9:21 a.m. — Peabody Fire Department, Peabody rescue, and Peabody ambulance responded to a report of a possible explosion at the American Legion.

9:47 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to an individual with neck pain involved in a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 56 and Kanza Road. No transportation was required.

10:01 a.m. — Marion ambulance and Hillsboro first responders were dispatched for a man having a diabetic reaction in the 500 block of West Grand Street in Hillsboro. The patient refused transportation.

12:10 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to a man in his 40s with a lacerated foot at the Flint Hills Muzzleloader Club. The patient refused transportation.

5:30 p.m. — Goessel Fire Department and Hillsboro ambulance responded to fire at 180th Road and Alamo Road. A man suffering from smoke inhalation did not require transport.

11:35 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to a report of an ammonia odor at the grain elevator.

Sunday

7:38 a.m. — A woman with a head injury and vomiting at Bethesda Home was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted on the call.

11:45 p.m. — Durham Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Lawrence Street for an animal rescue. Hillsboro Fire Department assisted on the call.

9:22 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi-St. Joseph.

10:42 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Stormont-Vail in Topeka.

Monday

12:12 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

5:05 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Via Christi-St. Joseph.

7:20 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.
