Nov. 25

10:15 a.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced life support transportation of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to McPherson Hospital.

6:53 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a fire in a ditch on Jade Rd. north of 250th Rd.

nov. 26

11:41 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a person with an unspecified condition from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:53 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a patient from Bethesda Home to Newton Medical Center.

12:19 p.m. — Florence ambulance was paged to transport a man in his 30s from the 200 block of E. 4th St. to St. Luke Hospital, per doctor’s orders. Due to a lack of a second responder, at 12:21 p.m. Marion ambulance was dispatched. EMTs reported from the scene that they would be transporting the patient to Newton Medical Center.

12:36 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 100 block of S. Date St. for a man with incessant bleeding from a neck lesion. The man was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

3:39 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

5:15 p.m. — Florence ambulance transported a woman with a possible heart attack from the 100 block of W. 4th St. to St. Luke Hospital.

6:54 p.m. — Marion ambulance was paged to determine if an advanced life support crew was available, but one was not. Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient with chest pains from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

friday

3:34 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to 2104 E. 340th Rd. for a woman in her 90s complaining of heart problems. At 4:03 a.m. Lost Springs firefighters were paged for lifting assistance, and the woman was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

6:09 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 80s who was incoherent and confused from the 200 block of E. Commercial St. in Goessel to Newton Medical Center.

6:59 p.m. — Burns first responders and Florence ambulance went to the 100 block of S. Santa Fe St. in Burns for an unresponsive elderly male with breathing difficulties. The man was transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

2:54 p.m. — Florence firefighters responded to a hay bale fire on Xavier Rd. between 80th and 90th Rds.

4:33 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 40s with possible broken bones from a fall from the 100 block of S. Date St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

7:57 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man with contusions on his head and face from Bethesda Home to Newton Medical Center.

8:15 a.m. — Florence ambulance transported a patient to St. Luke Hospital.

4:43 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Parkside Homes for a woman with possible injuries from falling.

6:55 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 800 block of Elm St. for a report of a man in his 80s with possible stroke symptoms. The man was transported to Newton Medical Center.

monday

10:09 a.m. — Peabody ambulance was paged for a man in his 50s who was weak and refusing to eat in the 500 block of N. Vine St. Only one EMT was available, so Marion ambulance was dispatched. The newspaper’s recording system did not record additional calls with further information.

12:52 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported an elderly female who fell and cut her head at Bethesda Home to Newton Medical Center.

2:11 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman in her 60s from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center.
