1:23 p.m. — Florence firefighters responded to Johnson’s General Store for a gas spill.

1:54 p.m. — A man with hip and back pain as a result of a fall from a ladder was transported by Marion ambulance from a residence on 194th Rd. in Canada to St. Luke Hospital. Marion firefighters provided lifting assistance.

1:22 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to the 600 block of S. Main St. for a carbon monoxide alarm.

10:47 a.m. — Peabody firefighters, first responders, and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Nighthawk Rd. one-eighth of a mile north of US-50. Hillsboro ambulance transported a man to Via Christi St. Francis hospital in Wichita.

1:21 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to September Apartments to provide lifting assistance for a man who fell out of his wheelchair.

3:41 p.m. — Durham firefighters were dispatched to a grass fire on Meridian Rd. north of 340th Rd. after Roxbury firefighters failed to acknowledge a page. At 4:02 p.m. the response was canceled when McPherson County advised that Roxbury had responded and extinguished the fire.

4:14 p.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a kitchen fire on Old Mill Rd. between 160th and 170th Rds. Hillsboro firefighters initially were dispatched to provide mutual aid, but an assessment at the scene determined the assistance was unnecessary.

8:21 p.m. — Florence firefighters responded to a field fire on Ulysses Rd. north of 140th Rd.

12:36 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a report of a man who was unconscious at Lincoln and B Sts. The man was not transported.

12:23 p.m. — Goessel firefighters responded to a grass fire on Diamond Rd. between 130th and 140th Rds.

friday

5:39 a.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a car fire on K-150 near Alfalfa Rd.

1:05 p.m. — A woman with chest pains was transported by Florence ambulance from the 200 block of W. 7th St. to St. Luke Hospital.

2:25 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a grass fire on Goldenrod Rd. south of 240th Rd.

12:01 p.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a controlled burn that was out of control at 210th and Xavier Rds.

12:20 p.m. — Goessel firefighters responded to a controlled brush fire that was out of control on Alamo Rd. between 160th and 170th Rds.

12:35 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a controlled burn that was out of control north of US-56 between Indigo and Jade Rds.

12:45 p.m. — Goessel firefighters responded to a controlled burn that was out of control at Alamo and 120th Rds.

2:11 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at US-50 and Sunflower Rd. No one was transported.

2:28 p.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a controlled burn that was out of control on Alfalfa Rd. between 210th and 220th Rds. At 3:02 p.m. the dispatcher requested additional firefighters to respond. At 3:05 p.m. Lincolnville and Florence firefighters were dispatched to provide mutual aid.

5:25 p.m. — A man who felt ill was transported by Marion ambulance from N. Cedar St. to St. Luke Hospital.

9:22 p.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced-life-support transportation of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

11:25 p.m. — A woman in her 20s with breathing difficulties and lightheadedness was transported by Marion ambulance from the 700 block of N. Sherman St. to St. Luke Hospital.

No emergency dispatches were recorded.

monday

9:46 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Medical Clinic to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

9:48 a.m. — A woman in her 60s having a seizure was transported by Tampa ambulance from the 100 block of County Rd. to St. Luke Hospital.

9:53 a.m. — Marion ambulance No. 2 responded to Lois Ln. at the county lake for a medical alarm. The alarm was accidentally triggered, and no transportation was necessary.

1:55 p.m. — Burns first responders and Peabody ambulance were dispatched to the 200 block of W. Main St. for a woman with knee pain. The woman was not transported.

6:48 p.m. — Lost Springs firefighters responded to a controlled burn that was out of control on Vista Rd. between 310th and 320th Rds.

8:07 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported an individual to Newton Medical Center. The newspaper’s system did not record transmissions with patient or location information.
