APRIL 14

12:59 p.m. — An 80-year-old woman with a cardiac irregularity was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from Bethesda Home in Goessel to Newton Medical Center.

1:54 p.m. — Tampa firefighters alerted Roxbury firefighters to a controlled burn near 340th and Chisholm Trail Rds. that was in danger of getting out of control.

WEDNESDAY

8:19 a.m. — A 65-year-old woman who reported chest pains was taken by Peabody ambulance from the 100 block of E. 4th St. in Florence to St. Luke Hospital in Marion.

9:32 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made a non-emergency transfer from Wesley Medical Center in Wichita to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

1:43 p.m. — A person complaining of alcohol withdrawal and high blood pressure was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 700 block of Elm St. in Peabody to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita.

2:08 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance conveyed a 79-year-old asthma patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to a medical helicopter for transfer to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

3:44 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi-St. Francis.

THURSDAY

FRIDAY

6:13 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Via Christi-St. Francis.

6:49 p.m. — Marion rescue extricated two victims from a car-semi accident at US-56/77 at K-150. Marion and Florence ambulances conveyed them to St. Luke for transport by two LifeTeam medical helicopters.

8:59 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Olive St. for a patient who reported breathing difficulties but suffered what EMTs termed an anxiety attack and did not require transport.

SATURDAY

8:57 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported an 85-year-old man with cardiac symptoms to St. Luke from a residence on K-256 just east of town.

10:11 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from Salem Home to Via Christi-St. Francis.

10:44 a.m. — Peabody ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Kansas Medical Center in Andover.

8:44 p.m. — A Bethesda Home patient who fell and injured a hip was transferred to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

SUNDAY

6:57 a.m. — Florence ambulance and rescue and Burns firefighters were summoned to a rollover accident on US-77 near 60th Rd. After determining that a helicopter ambulance could not reach the scene for 45 minutes, Florence ambulance transported a patient to Butler County for relay to an advanced-life-support ambulance there.

10:37 a.m. — Dispatchers notified Peabody ambulance and Harvey County authorities of a one-vehicle accident at US-50 and Indigo Rd. Recordings are unclear which agencies may have responded.

MONDAY

10:24 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to St. Luke an 88-year-old woman who fell in the 100 block of Plum St.

1:32 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.

1:40 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to HCH a 16-year-old girl who reportedly had seizures at Hillsboro High School.

5:28 p.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to a residence near 320th and Mustang Rds. and transported to St. Luke a woman who experienced difficulty breathing. At 8:15 p.m., the ambulance continued on to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

6:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to HCH a 92-year-old man from the 500 block of Lawrence St. in Durham who was having trouble breathing. Durham first responders also were dispatched.

9:26 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and a nurse from HCH made an advanced life-support transfer to Kansas Heart Hospital.

10:52 p.m. — Hillsboro, Marion and Peabody firefighters and Hillsboro and Marion EMTs were dispatched to a house fire in the 300 block of W. Grand Ave. in Hillsboro. Red Cross aid workers also were dispatched.

11:22 p.m. — Florence firefighters were summoned to a vehicle fire in the 100 block of W. 5th St. in Florence.
