According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Oct. 13

6:06 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Main St. for a woman in her 90s who had fallen and needed lifting assistance. The woman was not transported.

11 a.m. — Florence ambulance and Marion ambulance responded to Flint Hills Market in Florence for a woman in her 70s having chest pains. Marion ambulance transported her to St. Luke Hospital.

11:55 a.m. — Marion ambulance and Burns first responders responded to the 500 block of 40th Rd. for an elderly woman complaining of pain on the left side of her chest. She was transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.

1:45 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man who had fallen and possibly broke his hip from Prairie Ln. at Marion County Park and Lake to Newton Medical Center.

11:27 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman who had fallen, sustaining a neck injury, and possibly going into shock from the 400 block of N. Sycamore St. to Newton Medical Center.

Oct. 14

5:05 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to the 100 block of Cedar St. in Hillsboro after a vehicle reportedly hit a gas meter in an alley. A utility provider was called to make repairs to the meter.

7:32 p.m. — Tampa ambulance transported a woman who reportedly fell, hit her head, and was bleeding, from the 300 block of Roosevelt St. to Newton Medical.

THURSDAY

2:13 p.m. — Marion fire responded to the area of 240th and Quail Creek Rds. for a patch of prairie that had caught on fire. The fire was extinguished.

5:49 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Olive St. for a teenager who fell, and hit his head on a coffee table, and was bleeding. The teenager was not transported.

Friday

8:26 a.m. — Marion transported a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

6:05 p.m. — Marion ambulance was on first responder status, so Hillsboro ambulance responded to Old Mill Rd. north of 240th Rd. for a woman who had fallen outside and was complaining of leg pain. She was transported to Newton Medical.

6:25 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Main St. for a woman in her 90s who fell and needed help getting up.

6:40 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a cardiac patient from St. Luke to Via Christi- St. Francis in Wichita.

11:24 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance as first responders and Peabody ambulance responded to the 700 block of W. Grand St. in Hillsboro for a woman who was on the floor and did not know how she got there. She was transported to HCH.

Saturday

11:41 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Wendy’s on D St. for a teenage boy, having a seizure. The boy refused transport, and his mother took him from the scene.

12:03 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to the 110 block of N. Adams St. after an alarm company contacted dispatchers to say the fire alarm in the living room was activated. When Hillsboro fire arrived, they found no signs of a fire.

4:56 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a woman who fell, scraped her leg, and was bleeding badly from Hilltop Manor to St. Luke.

5:22 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to D St. west of Ampride for a pedestrian who was struck by a car. Hillsboro ambulance told dispatchers the pedestrian was on his feet and not complaining of pain, so he was not transported.

8:24 p.m. — Florence ambulance transported a man in his 90s with pneumonia from the 600 block of Marion St. in Florence to an unspecified location.

9:11 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a basic-life-support patient from HCH to St. Luke.

sunday

1:38 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance reported they were leaving St. Francis. Newspaper systems didn’t record a dispatch indicating the reason why they were there.

7:36 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 90s who was not feeling well from the 500 block of S. Wilson St. to HCH.

10:09 a.m. — Marion fire responded to St. Luke to assist with a landing zone for a Lifeteam helicopter.

Monday

1:49 a.m. — Lost Springs fire responded near 360th and US-77 for a field on fire. No controlled burns were called in for the area. Lincolnville fire, Woodbine fire, and Tampa fire were among 12 departments from 3 counties and Fort Riley to respond. All units were released from the scene at 7:13 p.m.

1:45 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a BLS transfer from HCH to Wesley Medical Center.
