Jan. 5

12:29 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 40s who passed out and was bleeding from the mouth from the 200 block of Willow Glen Rd. to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Hillsboro fire was paged for lifting assistance.

8:22 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Marion Assisted Living for a man in his 70s who was having a possible seizure. He was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

2:42 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.

jan. 6

5:24 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 80s who had fallen from Parkside Homes to HCH.

Thursday

10:21 a.m. — Marion fire, Hillsboro fire, Florence fire, Marion ambulance, and Hillsboro ambulance responded to the Co-op Grain Elevator in Marion for a fire in a pit where grain is unloaded. One individual was transported to St. Luke for treatment of a head laceration and smoke inhalation. While buildings in a two-block radius were evacuated, the fire was extinguished without further incident. The fire was put out.

6:02 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Diamond Rd. south of 120th Rd. after a medical alarm was set off. They were dismissed after the alarm company told dispatchers they were not needed.

11:25 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Hilltop Manor for a man having difficulty breathing. The man was not transported.

friday

1:47 a.m. — Peabody fire responded to a controlled burn one mile east of Peabody on US-50.

12:38 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Marion ambulance as first response responded to the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. in Marion for a man with difficulty breathing. The man was not transported.

9:51 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. for a man having difficulty breathing. He was transported to St. Luke.

Saturday

12:03 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the assisted living congregate at Park Village for a woman in her 90s not feeling well. She was transported to HCH.

7:09 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to Chisholm Trail Rd. between 320th and 330th Rds. for a child who had his tonsils out and was bleeding. He was transported to HCH.

sunday

3:52 a.m. — Marion fire, Marion ambulance, Hillsboro fire, and Florence fire responded to the county jail for reports of smoke.

7:55 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman who fell and was complaining of neck pain from Bethesda Home in Goessel to Newton Medical.

8:31 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to K-15 between 140th and 150th Rds. for a man who was not feeling well. He was transported to Newton Medical.

1:01 p.m. — Goessel first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to Falcon Rd. between 90th and 100th Rds. for a man in his 80s who had fallen asleep and was unresponsive. He was transported to Newton Medical.

4:02 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 80s who recently had hip surgery and had fallen out of his recliner from Parkside Homes to HCH.

5:47 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Salina Regional Hospital.

monday

7:57 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 70s from Bethesda Homes in Goessel to Newton Medical.

8:12 a.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion fire, and Marion rescue responded to Sunflower Rd. south of 140th Rd. for a one vehicle roll-over. The call was a non-transport.

8:29 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient from Bethesda Homes in Goessel to Newton Medical.

3:38 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 500 block of E. Grand St. for a toddler with a high fever. The toddler was taken to HCH by private vehicle.
