According to fire and ambulance transmissions monitored by the newspaper:

July 26

9:05 a.m. — After being called to Burns for an unspecified reason, Peabody ambulance was dismissed because the person went by private vehicle to a hospital.

7:08 p.m. — Burns first response and Florence ambulance were called to the 100 block of Nickerson St. in Burns for a woman who had fallen. The patient declined to be transported.

July 27

5:58 a.m. — Durham first response and Hillsboro ambulance were called to 340th Rd. between Eagle and Falcon Rds. for a woman who was not feeling well. Radio recordings were unclear whether transportation was provided.

8:16 a.m. — A woman in her 50s having difficulty breathing was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from the 200 block of E. F St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

9:31 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. C St. in Ramona for a woman who had fallen and was complaining of head, neck, and shoulder pain. Radio recordings were unclear whether transportation was provided.

Thursday

10:35 a.m. — Peabody ambulance and fire, Florence fire, and Hillsboro fire responded to Nighthawk Rd. between 80th and 90th Rds. for hay bales on fire in a barn.

friday

6:20 a.m. — A Marion EMT as first responder and Florence ambulance were called to Lakeshore Dr. at Marion County Lake for a woman who had fallen. After no response from Florence, Hillsboro ambulance was paged instead, arriving 22 minutes after the initial dispatch. The patient refused transport.

6:39 a.m. — Florence ambulance was paged for a man not feeling well in the 900 block of Marion St., with only one EMT responding. Peabody ambulance was paged, and transported the patient to St. Luke Hospital.

9:48 a.m. — A woman in her 40s who fell in the 100 block of S. Date St was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to HCH.

11:04 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called back to the county lake after the patient who initially refused transport began showing signs of mental changes. She was taken to St. Luke.

12:38 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Via Christi — St. Francis, Wichita.

3:56 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was called to an unspecified location but the patient refused transportation.

5:59 p.m. — A woman who was weak and vomiting at Marin Assisted Living was transported by Florence ambulance to St. Luke.

7:40 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was informed of a vehicle that was on fire in the 800 block of N. Vine St. Dispatchers said Peabody fire was aware but didn’t specify whether firefighters had responded.

9:47 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.

11:45 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Salina Regional Hospital.

Saturday

No calls were recorded.

SUNDAY

11:58 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a call for a woman who was not feeling well. She was transported to St. Luke.

11:07 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel first response were called to the 400 block of E. Marion St. for a woman who had fallen. No transportation was provided.

1:14 p.m. — Tampa ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

2:25 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a person with unspecified symptoms who had been riding a bike in an unspecified area to St. Luke.

monday

12:03 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel first response were called to the 600 block of Marion St. for a medical alarm that was deactivated, but it was a false alarm.

12:53 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a person from Bethesda Homes to Newton Medical.

4:08 p.m. — Marion ambulance was called to St. Luke Living Center to transfer a person to Via Christi — St. Francis. After no response from Marion, Hillsboro was called and completed the transfer.

5:06 p.m. — Florence fire and rescue and Peabody ambulance were called to a semi roll-over accident west of Florence on US-50. A person was transported to St. Luke.
