Sept. 27

11:29 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Main St. for a man who had fallen out of his wheelchair. No transportation was provided.

2:30 p.m. — Goessel first response, Goessel fire, and Peabody ambulance responded to 140th Rd. between Eagle and Falcon Rds. for a one-vehicle injury accident involving three individuals. Marion ambulance was later paged and transported a person to St. Luke. Another was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center.

SEpt. 28

8:03 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to 340th Rd. between Eagle and Falcon Rds. for a man with back problems. He was transported to HCH.

11:04 a.m. — Peabody ambulance was en route to Marion for an unspecified reason.

12:34 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was en route to Newton Medical Center for unspecified reasons.

1:22 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

Thursday

10:57 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Main St. for a man who had fallen out of his chair.

3:33 p.m. — Marion first response responded to the 200 block of W. Main St. for an unspecified reason. Transportation was not specified.

3:51 p.m. — Marion and Hillsboro ambulances responded both as first response to the front of Eastmoor United Methodist Church for a man slumped over in a wheelchair not acting right. He was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

3:59 p.m. — An unspecified EMS crew transported a person from an unspecified location to Susan B. Anthony Memorial Hopsital in El Dorado. The person transported was described as code red, or with “life-threatening” symptoms.

1:01 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of Walnut St. in Marion for a man who was not feeling well. He was transported to St. Luke. Marion fire provided lifting assistance.

4:08 a.m. — Peabody ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

2:11 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to St. Luke Living Center to perform a transfer to Via Christi — St. Francis, Wichita.

7:40 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Marion Assisted Living for a person who had a possible stroke. The person was transported to St. Luke.

8:56 p.m. — Tampa ambulance responded 340th Rd. between Eagle and Falcon Rds. for a man on oxygen who was reported as non-responsive but breathing. CPR was performed, and he was taken in to HCH as code blue, which means “no pulse or respiration.”

SATURDAY

2:39 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 400 block of Peabody St. for a person reported as choking. A Peabody EMS respondent reported in a dispatch that a person was breathing but “it still feels like there’s something in the throat.” A person was transported to Newton Medical.

3:48 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to HCH for a man who had fallen by the front doors. Transportation was not specified.

SUNDAY

4:01 p.m. — Marion fire responded to the 100 block of Locust St. in an alley for a gas meter that had reportedly been hit.

4:51 p.m. — Lincolnville first response and Tampa ambulance responded to 300th Rd. between Sunflower and Timber Rds. for a person having difficulty breathing. Transportation was not specified.

4:57 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to 400 block of N. Locust St. in Peabody for a person experiencing shortness of breath. The person was transported to Newton Medical.

5:29 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported an elderly person who could not sit up or walk from Old Mill Rd. between 90th and 100th Rds. to Newton Medical.

10:06 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 400 block of N. Ash St. for a man who had fallen out of his chair. No transportation was provided.

8:48 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of E. Main St. for a pregnant woman who was reported as lightheaded. She was transported to St. Luke.
