Emergency transports

The following dispatches were made by the Marion County Communications Department:

June 26

9:35 a.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Via Christi-St. Francis.

5:52 p.m. — A male in his 50s with a possible heart attack at U.S. 50 and Cemetery Road was transported by Peabody ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

10:32 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 3000 block of K-150 for female in her 60s with bleeding feet. The patient refused transportation.

June 27

12:12 a.m. — A male with back pain in the 600 block of Maple Street was transported by Peabody ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

1:20 a.m. — A female with breathing difficulties in the 200 block of South Cedar Street was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

9:49 a.m. — A female in her 90s who passed out at Parkside Home was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:15 a.m. — A child with seizures at the intersection of K-15 North and U.S. 56 was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:24 a.m. — A female in her 70s who was semi-alert and weak in the 100 block of Maple Street in Lost Springs was transported by Tampa ambulance to Herington Municipal Hospital.

12:42 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a duplex on Eisenhower Drive for an elderly woman who fell. No transportation was required.

4:50 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to a grass fire south of U.S. 50 on Pawnee Road.

10:17 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department, Lehigh Fire Department, and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a field fire on Falcon Road between 220th Road and 230th Road.

thursday

3:20 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the intersection of Grand and Washington streets for a male struck by a car. The patient refused transportation.

10:22 p.m. — A female in her 50s who was unresponsive in the 200 block of South Ash Street was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The patient was subsequently transported by Lifeteam helicopter to Via Christi-St. Francis.

friday

1:12 a.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Marion ambulance to Via Christi-St. Francis.

6:22 p.m. — Marion Fire Department and Marion ambulance were dispatched to USD 408 Sports and Aquatics Center for an alarm. The alarm was due to system maintenance.

10:11 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a house fire in the 300 block of Ash Street.

saturday

7:24 a.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital requiring advanced life support was transported by Peabody ambulance to Via Christi-St. Joseph.

4:27 p.m. —A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Municipal Airport for transport by Lifeteam helicopter to Via Christi-St. Francis.
