Esther R. Fisher, 88, of Hillsboro died Thursday at Pinnacle Park in Salina.

She was born April 28, 1923, to Peter C. Janzen and Susie (Regier) Janzen.

She married Lawrence Fisher on Aug. 31, 1941, in Lehigh. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Survivors include two children, Douglas Fisher of Newton and Eileen Williams of Wellington; two sisters, Susie Buller and Ruby Neufeldt; a brother, Ted Janzen; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The service was 10 a.m. Tuesday at Strassburg Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Janzen officiating. Burial followed at Lewis Cemetery, Ramona. Visitation was noon to 5 p.m. Monday at Jost Funeral Home.
