Esther Flaming

Esther Nora Flaming, 92, of Goessel, died Sept. 24.

She was born Feb. 24, 1918, at home in rural Marion County, to Henry and Agnes Schmidt.

She married Jacob J. Flaming on April 28, 1948, and they were together for 51 years. He died Jan. 25, 2000. Two great-grandchildren also preceded her.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Viola Buller; three sons, Leslie, Lauren, and Delbert; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday at Alexanderwohl Cemetery in Goessel. A memorial service followed at Alexanderwohl Church.
