Eugene F. “Gene” Vinduska Jr., 50, passed away June 3, 2010, near Marion.
He was born Feb. 1, 1960, the son of Eugene & Verna (Jirak) Vinduska Sr. He was a graduate of Centre High School.
On October 10, 1981, he married Angie Hess at Pilsen. Their union was blessed with two children: Mark and Michelle. He was the Supervisor of Grounds and Maintenance at St. Luke Hospital, Marion, for nearly 20 years. He had also been a contractor.
He is survived by his wife Angie and children Mark and Michelle all of Marion; parents Doc and Vernie of Pilsen; siblings: Ann and husband Tom Malone of Topeka; Doug and wife Kim of Wichita; Amy and husband Tim Vogel of Marion; Jo Ellen and husband Brian Whitehair of Abilene; Gerald and wife Heather of Marion; and Karen and husband Jeff Thompson of Ozawkie.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Tuesday and funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. today both at St. John Nepomucene Church-Holy Family Parish, Pilsen.
A memorial fund has been established with Father Kapaun Guild in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
