Eulalia Flaming

Eulalia Flaming, 83, died Feb. 16 at Salem Home, Hillsboro.

She was born March 1, 1933, to John L.W. and Marie (Ewert) Regier in Hillsboro.  

On May 4, 1952, she was married to Jim W. Flaming at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death Feb. 1.

She was a secretary for Jim’s Plumbing.  

Survivors include sons Stanley Flaming of Newton, and William Flaming of Hillsboro; daughters Cheryl Brandt of Hillsboro, Virginia Flaming of Newton, Shirley Esau of McPherson, and Susan Flaming and Vivian Picking, both of Salina; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by sisters Georgian Schmidt and Vernette Regier and brother James Eldon Regier.  

A funeral service was Tuesday at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with burial at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Hillsboro.

A memorial has been established with Rescare of Newton.
